All routine diagnostic laboratory testing is done in the hospital. This includes ultra-sound, bloodwork, parasite checks, x-rays, electrocardiogram, cytology, endoscopy, etc. Some specific testing does require outside laboratory involvement.

Both hospital locations are fully equipped to perform the necessary lab diagnostics on site for your convenience and to afford your family pet the prompt attention it needs and deserves.

The de la Houssaye Animal Hospital is capable of consulting with board certified veterinarians in cardiology, radiology, internal medicine, dermatology, opthomology, etc. without the inconvenience of secondary appointments. This can be done on the same day of the initial examination unless the presenting condition warrants specific care that for which a phone consult is not sufficient.

Each patient visit is followed up with a phone call to check on the progress of the patient. Additional calls are made based on the condition and procedure performed.
